Mosbolletjies are one of South Africa's most beloved bakes — soft, pillowy rolls with roots in Cape Dutch tradition, where grape must (the juice of freshly crushed grapes) was used to naturally leaven the dough. The result is something truly special: light, slightly sweet, and gently spiced with aniseed.

Ours are made fresh to order, the traditional way, and are best enjoyed warm from the oven or toasted with a generous spread of butter.
